1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing the AnySubs addon, creating an account, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

AnySubs is a Stremio addon that serves dual-language subtitles: an original subtitle track sourced from OpenSubtitles plus a machine-translated second track in your chosen language. Translations are generated automatically and provided as-is — they are intended as a language-learning aid, not a professional translation.

3. User Accounts

An account is optional but required for paid plans. You are responsible for keeping your password and API key confidential and for all activity under your account. Quotas are tracked per account, so regenerating your API key does not reset usage. You must provide a valid email address to receive account and billing notices.

4. Free vs Paid Plans

AnySubs is freemium: the Free plan includes a limited number of subtitle requests per month, and paid plans (Pro and Max) raise or remove that limit. Current limits and pricing are shown on the pricing section of the homepage. When your monthly quota is exhausted, subtitle requests return no results until the quota resets or you upgrade. We may adjust plan limits prospectively; active subscribers will be notified of material changes.

5. Payment & Billing

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. By purchasing a plan you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Price changes will be communicated before they take effect. Refund requests are handled case-by-case — contact us.

6. Prohibited Use

• Reselling, sublicensing, or providing the service to third parties as your own offering.
• Circumventing quotas (e.g. automated account creation or token harvesting).
• Scraping, bulk-downloading, or redistributing subtitle files obtained through the service.
• Using the service to infringe the rights of subtitle authors or content owners.
• Interfering with or disrupting the service's infrastructure.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Machine translations may contain errors. Subtitle availability depends on third-party sources (OpenSubtitles) that we do not control. AnySubs is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Stremio, OpenSubtitles, or any streaming service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AnySubs and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including loss of data or profits — arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be announced on the website or by email to account holders. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
